Pteryla Records is an independent record label which was founded by Sophie A. P. Higginson in 2021, originally with the intention of only using the label as a means to release her own music. However, as time progressed and Sophie gained a much higher understanding of the industry and its very severe flaws through collaborating with some of the worlds biggest record labels, she decided that it was time for a change.
At Pteryla Records we have created an environment in which artists are able to express themselves freely and creatively without oppression. We always ensure that artists we sign receive an acceptable percentage of royalties and have full ownership of their work.
