Originally established as a platform to release her own music, the label quickly evolved into something far greater. Through Sophie’s extensive collaboration with some of the world’s largest record labels, she developed a deep understanding of the industry’s systemic flaws such as: unfair contracts, the stifling of creative freedom, and exploitation of artists. Determined to drive change, she envisioned Pteryla Records as a revolutionary alternative to the traditional record label model.
